Chief Executive Officer

Graham Gardner, MD, MBA

Graham is the Founder and CEO of Kyruus Health where he has led the development and commercialization of the company’s market-leading patient access platform that now serves over 425,000 providers across 1,000 hospitals and 90 million members across 100 health plans. Prior to Kyruus Health, Graham was a Venture Executive at Highland Capital Partners where he co-founded Generation Health, a genetic benefit management company that facilitates optimal utilization of genetic testing, and served as the company’s Chief Medical Officer through its acquisition by CVS Caremark. Graham completed his clinical training in internal medicine and cardiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School, where he also served as Chief Medical Resident. Graham completed his BA and MD degrees at Brown University and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. Outside of Kyruus Health, he serves as an advisor to the Innovation & Digital Health Accelerator at Boston Children’s Hospital.
President

Paul Merrild

Paul is President of Kyruus Health where he leads growing and scaling the company’s core business operations. Paul is responsible for all sales, marketing, customer success, delivery, and product development functions to connect providers, payers, and consumers with the care that is right for them. Prior to Kyruus, Paul was the Chief Growth Officer for Sound Physicians. He also served a variety of roles during more than eight years at athenahealth, including General Manager for the Enterprise business unit and Head of Sales, where he led company-wide sales, strategy, and relationship management across all market segments. Before athenahealth, he worked in product management and marketing at GE Healthcare and Merge Healthcare. Paul earned his BA in economics and psychology from Northwestern University, and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, with concentrations in finance, strategy, and entrepreneurship.
Chief Strategy Officer

Gail Airasian

Gail Airasian, MBA, is Chief Strategy Officer at Kyruus Health where she leads business development, mergers and acquisitions, and expansion into new markets. Prior to joining Kyruus Health, Gail was the General Manager for Flatiron Health’s revenue cycle service where she helped grow revenue by more than 300 percent and managed both Sales and Implementation teams for the wider business. Gail also spent 10 years at athenahealth leading sales support teams for its electronic health record, practice management, and patient outreach services. Gail has a BA from Wellesley College and an MBA with a focus in healthcare finance from Boston College.
Chief Delivery and Operations Officer

Scott Andrews

Scott Andrews is the Chief Delivery and Operations Officer at Kyruus Health, where he is responsible for implementations, customer success, and ongoing support of the customer base as well as aligning the internal operations of the company. Prior to joining Kyruus Health, Scott worked at athenahealth for 17 years where he served in leadership roles in Client Services, Operations, and Finance. Before athenahealth, Scott was a manager at Tufts Health Plan responsible for financial and regulatory reporting. He was also a manager in the Health Care practice at Ernst & Young and earned a Certified Public Accountant designation. Scott obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Michael's College in 1990.
Chief Product Officer

Peter Boumenot

Peter drives the company’s product strategy and roadmap helping catalyze the next phase of Kyruus Health's evolution. He has held leadership roles over the past 20 years across multiple healthcare segments, guiding product, commercial, and operational teams to successfully deliver meaningful change and sustainable outcomes. Prior to Kyruus Health, he was Chief Outcomes Officer for b.well Connected Health. Before that, he was the Chief Product Officer for Signify Health, helping lead the organization through significant growth in its health plan business and successful IPO. He has also held several senior leadership roles at athenahealth. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Boston College.
General Counsel, Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer

Soojin Chung

Soojin Chung, JD, is Kyruus Health's General Counsel, Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer. She oversees all legal and compliance matters for Kyruus Health, including contracting, healthcare compliance, privacy, IP, and corporate transactions. Previously, she was the General Counsel, Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer of Caradigm, where she oversaw the growth of the company from its formation as a joint venture between Microsoft and GE Healthcare to a leader in population health management. Before Caradigm, she served as Senior Counsel for GE Healthcare’s Healthcare Knowledge & Connectivity Solutions business unit. Soojin was also previously a Counsel in the Technology Transactions & Licensing group at WilmerHale LLP focused on strategic alliances, IP licenses, and other corporate transactions. She is a graduate of Fordham Law School and Wellesley College.
Senior Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Development

Dan Kennedy

Dan is responsible for M&A and capital raising, and also works in concert with the Kyruus Health Product team to inform the buy, build, partner strategy and stand up the associated partner ecosystem. He has more than a decade of digital health experience. Prior to Kyruus Health, Dan was at athenahealth. He was also a founding member of Evolent Health’s Corporate Development team. In that role, he helped the company IPO and complete several subsequent acquisitions. He began his career in healthcare investment banking at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Dan earned a BS in Business Administration and BA in History from the University of North Carolina, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Chief People Officer

Paige Lisk

Paige Cox Lisk, MBA, is Chief People Officer at Kyruus Health. She oversees all Human Resources, including talent acquisition, employee belonging and growth, total rewards, and our HR business partners. She was previously the Chief People Officer of Verato, a digital health company. Prior to that, she has held senior HR leadership positions at DrFirst, Catalyte Inc., PayPal, and Constellation Energy Group. She has helped lead companies through multiple acquisitions and is recognized for attracting and developing diverse, mission-driven workforces. Paige is certified as a Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR), Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), and holds a Community MBA from the University of Texas, and an MBA in International Management from Loyola University.
Chief Technology Officer

Harshit Shah

Harshit Shah is the Chief Technology Officer at Kyruus Health leading technology initiatives and shaping the roadmap. His oversight spans engineering including software development, infrastructure, security, and data management. Collaborating with the product team, he optimizes technology for improved delivery and operational efficiency. With over 24 years of experience, his career trajectory includes roles at startups, Amazon, and Microsoft. Previously, as CTO at Spring Health, Harshit fueled exponential growth, achieving milestones in customers, revenue, and team expansion. His expertise extends to managing large-scale projects, leading global teams, and contributing notably to AWS IoT services and Microsoft's Bing Search. Active as an advisor and coach, he supports initiatives like WEST (Women Entering and Staying in Tech), Interview Kickstart, Asha for Education and startup guilds.
Chief Revenue Officer

Brandon Spring

Brandon oversees all Kyruus Health revenue functions with his team’s main focus being sales and generating growth, including pre-sales, sales engineering, and client technical services. Brandon oversaw Health Systems Sales at Kyruus Health during the company’s back-to-back record growth years of 2021 and 2022. Prior to joining Kyruus Health, he held multiple leadership positions at M*Modal across their sales and growth teams. He was instrumental in their record growth and market expansions propelling the company to a $1B + acquisition by 3M in 2019. Brandon also oversaw the Western Division for HIS Sales under 3M post acquisition. He holds degrees in Public Management, Leadership, and Policy & Sociology, and post-graduate work from The Ohio State University.
Senior Vice President, Marketing

Lesley Weisenbacher

Lesley Weisenbacher is Senior Vice President, Marketing at Kyruus Health. She leverages two decades of marketing experience with enterprise software and high-growth technology companies to lead Kyruus Health's corporate, growth, and product marketing, as well as branding. Prior to joining Kyruus Health, Lesley held senior marketing leadership positions with Strata Decision Technology, ModMed, GE Healthcare, Origin Healthcare Solutions, Merge, and Allscripts. She holds a bachelor of science in Marketing from Robert Morris University.

Tina Brown-Stevenson

Tina Brown-Stevenson was SVP, Healthcare Analytics & Decision Support for UnitedHealthcare Networks until 2019. She was charged with assessing and producing advanced analytics to deliver network configurations that support quality and cost effective care delivery. Until mid-2012, Brown-Stevenson was Chief Data and Analytics Officer for Ingenix (renamed Optum Insight), another UnitedHealth Group subsidiary. Prior to that, she was EVP of the Health Care Innovation and Information Group there. Before Ingenix, Brown-Stevenson was President of Aetna Informatics, Aetna’s data, information, and analytics organization. Before joining Aetna in 2001, she served as VP of HealthCare Economics at Cigna, VP of Health System Development at Partners, and VP for Medical Management at UnitedHealthcare of New England.

Brown-Stevenson is a Certified Managed Care executive who received an MA degree in Health Administration from Framingham State College (renamed Framingham State University) and a BS degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She completed post-graduate work in health informatics and is a frequent guest lecturer on managed care and applied health services research.

Brown-Stevenson is a member of the board of trustees of the CT Children’s Medical Center, and the Commonwealth Honors College Advisory Board at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is a former board member of the UnitedHealth Foundation, the Aurora Foundation for Women and Girls, the Aetna Foundation, and the CT Health Foundation. In 2010, her contributions to healthcare earned her national recognition in the annual “Women Worth Watching®” issue of the Profiles in Diversity Journal, dedicated to highlighting women leaders who make a difference.

Chief Executive Officer, Echo Health Ventures

Rob Coppedge

As CEO of Echo Health Ventures, Rob leads the company's efforts to identify, invest in and grow innovative companies that enable and deliver a transformed experience to health care consumers nationwide. As part of Echo's unique partnership with its parents, Rob works closely with the senior management teams and board of Cambia Health Solutions and Mosaic Health Solutions to support collaboration with Echo's portfolio companies, accelerate Cambia and Mosaic's strategies and more quickly bring health care innovation to national scale.

Rob has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare venture capital and business building. Before founding Echo, Rob served as the President of Cambia Health Solutions' diversified business unit (Direct Health Solutions). In this role, Rob oversaw Cambia's wholly-owned operating companies as well as its venture and private equity investing activities. Rob joined Cambia in 2010 to launch and build the company's diversification and corporate venture investment efforts. Under Rob’s leadership, Cambia invested in nearly 20 companies. In 2015, Rob co-founded the Cambia Grove - an innovation hub focused on catalyzing and supporting the Pacific Northwest’s emerging health care economic cluster.

Before joining Cambia, Rob was the founding partner of Faultline Ventures, where he worked with numerous early stage companies and strategic investors. Previously, he was a Partner at Capitol Health Partners, a Washington, D.C., and New York City-based venture capital firm specializing in early-stage health services and health care information technology.

Active in industry and community organizations, Rob serves on the boards of several health care companies, the board of the Cambia Health Foundation, and as co-chair of the Health Executives Network. He is a founder and former director of the Nashville-based largest network of young health care executives, Leadership Health Care. Rob is a graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in history and is a Chartered Financial Analyst, charter holder.

Partner, Providence Ventures

Dan Galles

Dan is a Partner at Providence Ventures (PV) where he focuses on investments in the healthcare information technology, healthcare services, and medical device sectors. Dan joined PV in 2015 and leads the team’s investments in: Gauss Surgical, Lyra Health, Omada Health, One Medical, Press Ganey, and Twistle.

Dan has been investing in and partnering with management teams of early and growth-stage companies in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining PV, Dan was a partner at HLM Venture Partners where he led or co-led investments in 14 companies including: Confluent Surgical, Redbrick Health, ClearData, Silverlink Communications, and CBR Systems. Prior to HLM, Dan was an associate at venture capital firm J.H. Whitney and Company and an Analyst in the healthcare investment banking group at Alex. Brown & Sons.

Dan has an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University and a BS in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Dan lives in the San Francisco Bay Area where he and his wife enjoy spending much of their time following the athletic pursuits of their three teenage children. Dan is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing golf and pick-up basketball with his friends and family.

Former CEO, Partners in Health and Partners HealthCare

Gary Gottlieb, MD, MBA

Dr. Gary Gottlieb most recently served as CEO of Partners in Health up until June 2019. Prior to that, from 2010 until 2015, he served as president and CEO of Partners HealthCare, the parent of the Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General Hospitals, operating the largest health care delivery organization in New England and among the nation’s largest nonprofit biomedical research and training enterprises. Dr. Gottlieb is a professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and a member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies. He served as president of Brigham and Women’s/Faulkner Hospitals, as president of North Shore Medical Center, and as chairman of Partners Psychiatry. Prior to coming to Boston, Dr. Gottlieb spent 15 years in positions of increasing leadership in health care in Philadelphia. As a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania, he earned an M.B.A with distinction in health care administration from the Wharton Graduate School of Business Administration. Dr. Gottlieb is a member of the National Academy of Medicine and serves on the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.

Stephen Kahane, MD, MS

Dr. Kahane is an executive advisor / operating partner at New Mountain Capital, working directly with select portfolio companies including Ciox Health, Cloudmed. and Signify Health. Previously, he served as EVP and President, Client Organization at athenahealth. During his eight years there, the company grew revenues from $250M to over $1.4B and market cap from under $1B to almost $6B. Prior to that, Dr. Kahane was Chairman and CEO of publicly traded AMICAS, Inc., an image and information management solutions company (acquired by Merge Healthcare). He also served as CEO of publicly traded VitalWorks Inc. (acquired by Cerner) and privately held Datamedic Holding Corporation (acquired by Infocure).

Dr. Kahane has extensive private equity and venture capital experience, including serving as an operating/venture partner at both Bessemer Venture Partners and SV Life Sciences. In addition to Kyruus, he serves as a board member at RevInt/Cloudmed, EarlySense, RevSpring, and Groups Recover Together. He has also served on the boards of Cressy, Homecare Homebase, and RedBrick Health.

Early in his career, Dr. Kahane served as medical director and system development director of IT at Johns Hopkins Medical Institution and was on the faculty of the medical school. He completed his residency and received his M.S. in computer science from Johns Hopkins and his M.D. from Emory University. Dr. Kahane has been married to Christine for 38+ years – they have five children and live in Boston, MA.

Dan Nova, MBA

Dan joined Highland in 1996 as a Partner to establish and build the firm’s internet investment practice. He is leading the firm’s expansion efforts into China. He continues to be an active investor focusing on technology and consumer investments with specific experience and interest in internet, digital marketing and media technologies. Vice President, Francisco Partners

Victoria Shih

Victoria Shih is a Vice President at Francisco Partners, one of the largest and most active technology-focused private equity firms in the world. She joined the firm in 2021 and is based in San Francisco. Victoria focuses on investments in vertical market software and healthcare technology and has been actively involved in the firm’s investments in Merative, Trellis Rx, and AndHealth. Prior to joining Francisco Partners, Victoria was an Associate at Goldman Sachs, where she worked exclusively with not-for-profit healthcare organizations on capital raises and M&A.

Victoria has an AB in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College and an MBA with a major in Health Care Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Partner, Venrock

Bryan Roberts, PhD

Bryan is a Partner at Venrock, joining the firm as a Kauffman Fellow in 1997. He is based in Venrock’s Palo Alto office and focuses on a broad range of health care investments. Bryan is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Achaogen, Castlight Health, and Ironwood Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: IRWD) and also serves on the Board of several other private companies, including Coderyte, Intarcia, Kyruus and Tandem Diagnostics. Past investments include athenahealth (NASDAQ: ATHN), Illumina (NASDAQ: ILMN), Sirna Therapeutics (acquired by Merck) and Xenoport (NASDAQ: XNPT). Bryan was named a Henry Crown Fellow by the Aspen Institute in 2006 and has been the highest-ranking health care investor on Forbes’ Midas List since 2008. Immediately prior to joining Venrock, Bryan received his Ph.D. in Chemistry & Chemical Biology from Harvard University. He previously held positions in corporate finance at Kidder, Peabody & Co and received his B.A. from Dartmouth College.

Underscoring our commitment to care access, Kyruus Health introduced our Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC)—the first of its kind for a health IT company—in 2021. Representing a variety of experiences caring for family members and as patients themselves, this group serves in an advisory capacity for our strategy, product development, and all things care access.

For over 20 years, Ayodola has used her experience and expertise in health and health care equity and patient and community engagement to create meaningful change in the health ecosystem. She joined the Kyruus Health PFAC in 2022 to contribute these skills to the organization's vision and to be a good ancestor to those who will come after her and need equitable, safe, timely, accessible, and quality health care.

Laura Carroll

Laura has extensive experience serving on both statewide and national PFACs. In addition she is a caregiver for two family members and has patient experiences herself. She joined the Kyruus Health PFAC in 2021 because of her convictions that all should have equal access to healthcare.

Greg Merritt

Greg is a self proclaimed practicing questionologist. He joined the Kyruus Health PFAC in 2021 because of the opportunity to use his voice as a patient to serve as an authentic partner in access improvement. He has additional interests in patient partnerships in clinical research, clinical practice, medical education and cardiac rehabilitation.

Ting Pun

Ting’s experience caring for his wife led him to begin his work as a PFAC member for Stanford Healthcare. Ting’s background is in research and business. His involvement in PCORI as well as his interests in data and healthcare IT make him a valuable participant in our Kyruus Health PFAC.

Denean Greene Rivers

Denean has over 20 years of experience in Community Health and Wellness as well as Patient and Family Advocacy. She joined the Kyruus Health PFAC in 2021 because she believes in the Kyruus Health mission and supports innovative healthcare access for all. Denean’s interests include the patient/consumer experience, rural/community maternal health, health information technology and diversity, equity and inclusion.

Lindsey is not only a MS patient she is also very active in MS research and nonprofit organizations. She strives to improve the patient experience by helping patients be the best advocate possible for themselves. Lindsey joined the Kyruus Health PFAC to use her advocacy skills and experience with a chronic condition to improve health care access.

Tousey joined the Kyruus Health PFAC to use his expertise in business process management and supply chain operations to help to improve the quality of the health care experience. He also has experience as a patient and an advisor to Emory Healthcare in Atlanta.
